Triumphant Odyssey
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. -- Tennyson's
Ulysses

These are the beginnings of my my odyssey. I drove home today (a rainy Friday the 13th) in a 1980 Triumph Spitfire. I previously owned one back in the early 90's and have wanted another one ever since. This particular car has seen better days, she felt like she would shake apart at certain speeds during the drive today. We had to cover about 50 miles of interstate and surface streets through Atlanta - in the rain - with no windshield wipers. I would not have had it any other way - this is now my project.
Unfortunately this project died. The car has been sold.
